Straight outta the Tubby smoker!
At Tubby HQ, we’re all about smoking, and we’ve just taken things up a notch! We’ve invested in a larger smoker and are now cranking out batches of our delicious wood-smoked sea salt. This time, they come in bigger 200g tins – and they’re seriously awesome!
Apple Wood Smoked
Apple wood is a fruitwood that delivers a mild, sweet smoke, perfect for enhancing the flavor of meat. It pairs especially well with pork (hence the wild boar on the tin!), but it’s also fantastic on chicken and fish. The subtle smokiness won’t overpower delicate flavors – it’ll only make them better!
Use this salt as a crunchy finishing touch for your dishes, to season slow-cooked meats, anything on the grill, or even to make the smokiest popcorn in the universe!

The tins are so cool, you’ll want to keep them as stash containers long after the salt is gone!
Important Tips for Maintaining Your Salt Tins
Salt + metal + moisture = rust, so try to keep your salt safe from humidity and steam (which can be tough when it’s near your cooker!). If rust starts to appear on the tin, simply pour out the salt, clean the tin with lemon juice, and let it dry completely before refilling. You can also line it with baking paper if you like.
